moa in still

i'm marit. i'm young and happy. with an amazing life. full of beautiful people. and moments. i have a monstrous puppy dog named sampson. who loves to eat birthday cakes off tables. and play in the mud when it rains. a handsome boyfriend to snuggle with. our new addition hadyn. an adorably small golden retriever. and best friends who have made every day brighter. funnier. and more ridiculous than i ever could have imagined.

little things that make my heart happy.

1. having dinner with amanda last night. she seemed so much happier than the last few times we had dined together. and i love knowing my friends are healthy, happy, and loving life.

2. dillinger’s tap room (the boyfriends new bar) is set to open on August 3rd.  Actually being a part of it is nice.  Making all our light fixtures.  Making some of the paintings.  Helping remodel the bathrooms.  Creating the new beer and cocktail menus.  All while bartending there.  It’s a lot right now, but it’s going to be incredible.  Seeing the transformation makes me happy.

3. we have decided to have a memorial tap for my dearest and loveliest lost friend.  every draft will translate into a certain amount of money going towards the Melanoma Foundation.  this means the world to me :)

4. the boyfriend and i are in a wonderful place. that place where you find yourself looking at each other all the time and smiling.  this makes me giddy and happy. and everything else under the moon.
